I could’ve sworn it was narrated by a voice synthesizer, but it turned out to be sort of a human. It sounds flat and robotic. Not a very pleasant reading.

I enjoyed it. The voice of the guy doing the brief introduction would have driven me mad if it was he who had did the actual reading, but i didnt mind the narrator’s voice at all, thought it was done pretty well.

Yeah, unfortunately this was recorded before they started figuring out that flat, monotone voices weren’t pleasant to listen to over long periods of time. I think before that, they considered it kind of a challenge for people to listen without falling asleep. ;-) Thanks to the uploader though. Looking forward to listening to this absolute classic again.
