First published in 1948, The Ides of March is a brilliant epistolary novel of the Rome of Julius Caesar. I read this book when I was about 13 years old, and haven’t picked it up again since, but it started a love of Rome. Prior to that I was obsessed with Ancient Greece, but this book made me want to know the real story. Now, it’s been 20 years, and I forgot about it until seeing this and I am so excited to listen to it. Thank you so much for sharing!
